The source is a manuscript of separate parts, dated 1725, Biblioteca del Conservatorio di Musica S. Pietro a Majella, Napoli. It includes 24 sonatas for recorder, 2 violins and bass of different authors. 12 sonatas of the collection are by Francesco Mancini and 7 are by Alessandro Scarlatti.
