The sources of the Concerto are: 1) the manuscript of the parts (1734): “Concerto ex A. Hautbois d'amour solo, violino primo, violino 2.do, viola & basso cembalo.”, MS. 360, Univer-sitäts- und Landesbibliothek, Münster (D-MÜu), RISM: sources/450016927; 2) the manuscript of the score (>1944): “Conzerto für Oboe d'amore mit Begleitung eines Streichorchesters und Continuo”, Mus-Ms-347, TU Darmstadt. Both manuscripts erroneously attri-bute the concerto to Heinichen, while several more reliable sources (Christoph Graupner, Breitkopf Thematic Catalogue. Part III 1763) indicate Antonio Lotti.
