The Concerto is an arrangement, perhaps by Lotti himself (M. Talbot) of three opera arias taken from his works Giove in Argo and Ascanio. Both manuscripts erroneously attri-bute the concerto to Heinichen, while several more reliable sources (Christoph Graupner, Breitkopf Thematic Catalogue. Part III 1763) indicate Antonio Lotti.
