The source is a manuscript of the score and of strings and basso continuo parts, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, Vienna (A-Wn): Mus.Hs. 17089 and Mus.Hs.17090. In the second aria, the parts of Violin I and II are identical, with a different text for the voice (“Promette il Cielo” instead of “Quell’usignuolo” of the score) and do not explicitly refer to the Flute. However, the development of the part and the reference to the nightingale allow to assign the execution of the part to the Flute.
